Louise M. Boston BOSTON, LOUISE M., 80, of Jefferstontown died Thursday, June 21, 2007. She was the former Louise Miller, past-president of Kentuckiana Square Dance Association and a member of Jeffersontown Presbyterian Church, Buechelites, and J Walkers Square Dance Club. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. Boston II. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Boston; grandchildren, Robert E. Boston III (Tonya), Lynn Gatlin (Joe), and Jami Sue Guess (Eric); great grandson, Jesse Gatlin; daughter- in-law, Susan Boston; sisters, Jean Spears and Joel Squyres; sister-in-law, Maria Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Jefffesontown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday. Memorial gifts: her church or donor's charity of choice

Cancer Update - April 17 Well, The April 11th Chemo Treatment is over. Still no nausea with this new Chemo medicine but bones and joints do ache. Just one more treatment to go on Wednesday, April 25th. The white blood cells are doing well but the red blood cells are still low. So, even after the last treatment - I will need to continue the shot for the red blood cells to grow. With the red blood cell count being low - that attributes to me being very tired(Anemia). I am still working full time except on the days I have my chemo treatment(have to pay the bills). The MRI on April 5th came back clear. It will still take time for my body to finish healing(stomach & breast) and I will have 3 month check ups to monitor everything. I will start taking Tamoxifen after the last treatment and that is a 5 year commitment. I have encountered so many men and women that have been touched by Cancer. I have hoped that my emails remind everyone that they should be checked. Cancer can be caught early and taken care of. There are so many ways we can support each other through this type of ordeal - We don't have to be alone. I want to thank everyone that put me on their prayer list, sent an email or card, said words of support and shared their experiences, took the time to call me or gave me a hug.
